Apple iPad: Why has and will succeed!

Although I have expressed doubts on the choice of Apple (see previous post ) there is a fundamental reason to justify the success dell'iPad.

The reason is the same (in reverse) that led to the failure of previous computer technology and touch-based operating systems Windows XP, Vista or 7.
The reason for the failure of those who use a PC operating system is not suitable and not specifically designed to use the touch screen and without the physical presence of a keyboard and mouse.
backwards dell'iPad success is determined by the fact that it uses an operating system designed for touch screens and used successfully on the iPhone. This is also why (I guess) so HP and others have abandoned the PC market of touch with characteristics similar to (!!!) 'iPad. They did very well, they only lost money and time.
